Many years ago, St. Mary’s parishioners committed themselves to a program of “Sacrificial Giving,” of returning to God a small portion of the blessings that He has bestowed on us. We encourage you to likewise participate. Although only you can determine what your return will be, the suggested level of donation is the equivalent of one hour’s labor per week. Using the weekly envelope system or our E-Giving program, allows us to continue and expand the programs throughout the parish.

 
Weekly Envelope System
As a registered parishioner you will receive weekly envelopes which will include special and second collection envelopes as well.  These envelopes can be dropped in the collection baskets during any Mass.  When you are on vacation please send your weekly offering directly to the the Parish Office:

E-Giving Program

The St. Mary’s E-Giving program is an easy way to make your weekly donations to St. Mary’s using EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

 

With E-Giving, you can make a thoughtful decision on what you want to give on a weekly or monthly basis and have it automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. No one is trying to tell you what to give.  Rather this is an invitation to put God first in all that you do and respond by making a consistent planned and proportional gift to the parish. Sign-up is as easy as completing the form found below and returning it to the Parish Office.  We will make sure your donations take place as you request.

 

This program will help you, the parishioner, as well as the parish.  It helps assure your Sacrificial Gift is regularly given without the need to use your weekly envelopes.  Regardless of whether you have time to write a check before Mass or you are simply away, your planned donation will take place.  It helps the parish by making the collection more predictable.  This helps in planning and also simplifies the contribution handling process.

 

May you prayerfully consider this new way of giving.  We’re sure many of you already use electronic funds transfer to pay bills. For now you will continue to receive all your envelopes.  You will need to continue to use the special, second collection envelopes since those collections are not included in this program.  If you wish, you may place your empty weekly offering envelope in the collection basket.  We ask that you clearly write “EFT” or “E-giving” on the front of the envelope so the collection counters will know not to process the envelope.
