Each year Carol Locandro and Mary Ann Pilon organize a Halloween Party and a breakfast with Santa for children and adults with special needs. This tradition has been continued for over 20 years at St. Mary’s Church. Invitations go out to individuals and group homes in Simsbury, Granby, Bloomfield and Avon.
The Halloween party features pizza, music, games and costumes. The breakfast with Santa includes pancakes, sausage, Santa Claus and caroling. Many of the participants have been involved in these special events since the very beginning.
