"Even in churches things wear out, and our altar is no exception.
The altar of sacrifice we are currently using is the original altar installed
when the church was built. Over the years the rear has become splayed
and the top has begun to sag. Through the generosity of several members
of the parish we will be replacing the altar and pulpit as well as doing some
physical renovations to the sanctuary to both accommodate the new altar
and to make the sanctuary safer."
