The Birth of Jesus is the third Joyful mystery. Jesus is born in Bethlehem. Notice that the nimbus around Christ is divided by three orange parts. A divided nimbus is always around the head of the Persons of the Trinity. The shape is in the form of a cross with the bottom part hidden. Shepherds are shown on the right. The Shepherds have come to pay homage to the King.
The lower left window pane is a red flower which represents the five wounds of Christ. This flower is also seen in the rose window at the front of the church. On the right is a five pointed star, called the star of Bethlehem.
