According to the Bible, prayer eases others’ burdens. (Galatians 6:2) Prayer is also a ministry (Hebrews 6:9-10). Prayer brings deliverance (2 Corinthians 1:8-11) according to the promises of God and the faith of His people.
We pray for people in need: healing, medical concerns, a job, financial, family issues, bereavement and many more issues that people seek assistance and peace. People request prayer by: 1) calling the church office or 2) by sending an email. We then send the request to the Prayer Ministry members who will pray for that individual and their prayer request.

A member of the Prayer Ministry was talking with a parishioner who shared that they were going to have a medical procedure and the minister offered to pray for her. She was deeply touched by that gesture and said "No one has ever offered to pray for her before."
