My Own Church is your own personal tool for managing your family's parish information, sacramental records, financial giving history, and Faith Formation registration.  


Creating an account is a one-time process and takes just a few steps to complete. Click on the button below to create a My Own Church Account. 

** Note:  During the registratin process, when selecting an "organization" be sure to select St. Mary's Parish, Simsbury.** 

Register for a My Own Church Account

After you have submitted your registration, you will receive an email to set your password on the ParishSOFT website.  If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder and change settings to allow your email to receive email from [email protected].  Another reason you may not receive an email is if you did not select St. Mary's as the organization.

Once your My Own Church account is created, follow these steps to register for Faith Formation classes.

1. Log in to My Own Church and click on Faith Formation on the left hand menu.  
2. Step 1 shows your current family details. If there is any information that must be updated, click the Update Family Record link and do so presently.
3. Step 2 provides a dropdown menu for you to select the term in which you are registering your student. Select a term.
4. Step 3 Add Student: when you click this button the registration form pops-up. (image below)
   • Fill in the registration form.
   • Click the Save Student button.
5. The registration information displays to the screen.
   • If it looks right, click Submit Registration.
   • If something looks wrong, you may click on any of the provided links to update the information.
6. After submitting the registration, you will receive a confirmation screen.
   • It will confirm the information and let you know to expect an email.
7. Expect two emails.
   • One email letting you know the student registration has been received. 
   • And another email when the registration has been accepted (or rejected if the class was full).

In order to complete the registration, hit the Pay Now button at the bottom of the registration page.  

Our payments will be processed through our online giving system WeShare.  If you are already an e-giver, just sign-in using the tab at the top of the page before filling out the form.
