It is my honor and pleasure to be the Director of Youth Ministry at both St. Catherine of Siena and St. Mary's Parishes. I have been a parishioner at St. Catheirne's since 1999, and have taught Faith Formation for over 14 years. My three children were active participants in Faith Formation, as altar servers, and in our Youth Ministry program. In fact, I credit one of my daughters for getting me involved in the Youth Ministry program, inviting me to chaperone one of the Boston Mission Trips. The rest is history. I am grateful and blessed to work with the teens and their families. My hope is that together we can nurture our young people to grow in their relationship with our Lord and empower them to live as disciples of Christ. Let's do great things together!
I am thrilled and honored to be asked to serve in the Youth Ministry as liaison for St. Mary's. I have had the opportunity to reflect on my own journey of faith, and I am deeply passionate about helping young people navigate theirs. Being a part of the Youth Ministry allows me to give back to the community in a meaningful way, guiding and Frank Ippolito mentoring the next generation as they grow in their relationship with God. I am excited that the teens in all our parishes will be able to come together and share in faith, fun and new friendships
I have been a parishioner at St. Mary's church since 2017. Prior to this I was a parishioner at St. Bernard's church in Tariffville where I was the Faith Formation Coordinator for pre-K through 8th grade. I taught 8th grade for 22 years and learned a lot! When I came over to St. Mary's I became the Jr. High Faith Formation Coordinator and last year I became the Confirmation coordinator for the Senior high school students. I also am involved with the Spiritual Gifts Ministry. I love working with the teenagers and look forward to collaborating with St. Catherine's church Youth Ministry.
I am not only the Youth Ministry Assistant but also a Special Ed Para at Henry James Middle School in Simsbury. I'm fortunate to not only interact with the teens during our meetings/events, but to also see some of them at school. I've taught catechism for 4 years and have been a parishioner at St. Catherine's since 2016. Both my children participated in the Youth Ministry Program and have been on the Boston MIssion Trip. I am super excited for the coming year and the merging of our Youth Ministry Programs. I expect that it will be a great experience for all of us!
I have been a parishioner at St. Mary's since 2000. My four children participated in the Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs. All four of them attended the Steubenville Youth Conference which was very powerful for them. This parish has been a wonderful, welcoming community to raise a family. I spend much of my time volunteering in the parish office, coordinating liturgical decorating and helping with the youth programs in our parish. I look foward to collaborating with St. Catherine's in growing our Youth Ministry program and engaging our youth in their faith.
